Xiaomei Gao (“May”) is a board-certified acupuncturist and registered nurse licensed in both Florida and New York, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare experience to her patients. Her background blends conventional Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), creating an integrative approach to care.

Before pursuing acupuncture, May spent more than a decade working in a hospital emergency room and later worked for a large medical insurance company in New York, assessing clients’ medical and physical health needs and coordinating care to provide appropriate support. These experiences deepened her understanding of patient care, advocacy, and whole-person wellness.

After running her clinic in New York for more than a decade, May has relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she continues to provide high-quality care to her patients. May specializes in supporting patients experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, migraines, reproductive concerns, digestive disorders, acute and chronic skin conditions, and stress-related conditions.

Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, May integrates acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, Chinese nutritional therapy, and holistic wellness practices to support balance, healing, and long-term health.

May’s goal is to help every patient feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
